What does counselling cost? Print

If you want to find out how much counselling will cost you, talk to the administrator at your local Relationship Services Office. They will explain our fee scales.

We do have some funding from government and community sources to provide some counselling at a lower rate. There is also Family Court counselling available for couples in some situations at no charge. If you are trying to resolve relationship issues, or to work out agreements about children if you are separating, you can contact us to find out more. For more information about Family Court counselling go to;Are you eligible for free counselling?

When you call the administrator will explain what is available for you.

Ordinarily the charge is for each appointment, usually about 50 minutes long. The cost is the same whether the counselling is for an individual or for a couple. The rates may vary if a larger group is involved.
