A Seminar for new migrants

sponsored by the Department of Labour

 

Are you new to New Zealand? 
Life in a new country can be challenging. 


Would you like to

  • gain an insight into kiwi culture
  • gain an understanding of the different stages in the migration process
  • learn strategies for coping with change
  • learn about relationships in the workplace and how to network for employment
  • hear from other migrants and their experience of settling into New Zealand
  • share with others your experiences of settling into New Zealand, and finding your way in your new country?


"Relating Well in New Zealand" is a free half day or full day seminar, sponsored by the Department of Labour and presented throughout the country. 


For information about the next course in your area please contact your local Relationship Services office.  Courses can be run on request for specific groups, and special seminars are provided for workers on the RSE scheme.
